About Polycarp Flowers
Our Story. In 2015, after living overseas for 18 years, Daica relocated to Summit, NJ. Living in Amsterdam for over 11 of those years definitely solidified her love of and passion for flowers and has greatly influenced her design aesthetic. She started Polycarp Flowers in the summer of 2016 with a desire to artistically bring the outdoors indoors.

We each have our strengths, and we bring them together and collaborate to make your event unforgettable. We are passionate about our work and our clients benefit from the exceptional attention to detail and creativity that goes into each one of our projects. We want to create works that
transport you to a happier place. We believe in the power of nature and design. We are constantly engaged in projects that challenge us to think outside the norm. We are functional, OCD-enhanced creatives. Trust us; that's a good thing.
Daica
I am the Owner & Floral Designer of Polycarp Flowers. Being a studio florist, means that all of our work is designed uniquely and specifically for our individual clients. I am a graduate of New York University, and in a past life, I worked in the field of human rights at Columbia University. I have travelled all over the world and lived and worked on 5 continents. I earned a certificate degree in floral design from New York Botanical Garden (NYBG) Educational in 2016 and started Polycarp Flowers soon after. I create made-to-order custom arrangements for corporate and private clients and I love being a florist.
Andie
Creating editorial designs is my strength. The artistry in designing with flowers is knowing when the work is completed. I am an alumnus of NYBG and a perfectionist. I found a kindred designer in Daica.
David
David is a passionate designer with a clear view of the big picture. A native of Honduras. David’s strength is his ability to lead and confidence in his work and talents never disappoints.
Stephen
Managing a successful business is hard work, I enjoy escaping from behind the desk to help shop at the NJ & NYC flower markets.
Our Flowers
We believe that it is important that you know where we source our flowers. Whenever possible, we try to use local growers and vendors in California. More often than not, our flowers come from all over the world, making use of vendors from Europe, Israel and Latin America. We cultivate relationships with and make frequent personal visits to the best floral vendors in NYC and NJ. That is why our florals are so fresh and unique.
